First Day of School

As many of you know, Kate has homeschooled the children the past two years. This has been a great experience. The kids love to read and they read a book or two a day. Having a love for books is huge in life.

But having a fifth child when school was beginning to start was just too much this year. So the kids have to get up at the crack of dawn (6;30am) to catch the 7am school bus. Here are some pictures of the first early morning.

Today was also Kate's 35th Birthday! For lunch we went to Rafferty's in Lexington to have a nice meal together and celebrate. Kate's mom and dad left back for Tennessee later that afternoon to rest up and get some sleep again.
